We are proclaiming Fort Collins Homeless Awareness Day to actively engage in conversations that raise awareness about homelessness and activities that further our community’s vision to make homelessness rare, short-lived and non-recurring.

The Murphy Center will host two major events on December 8th, 2018, as part of Homeless Awareness Day:
Mission to Hope Walk and Murphy Center Community Dinner.
These events help make possible everything that we do…and they’re fun for everyone!
Mission to Hope Walk (8 AM to 11 AM)
The Murphy Center Mission to Hope Walk: Individuals, families, businesses, agency partners and other groups will take the .8-mile walk—together—from the local shelters to the Murphy Center. This is a walk that many people we serve take every day. Following the Walk will be an Open House at the Murphy Center, lunch provided by local restaurants and various activities.
Murphy Center Community Dinner (6 PM to 9 PM)
The Murphy Center Community Dinner: More than 200 individuals—people who are housed and guests (clients) of the Murphy Center—will come together to learn more about the Murphy Center collaborative, engage in conversation and share a meal. The Community Dinner will take place at First Presbyterian Church, just south of Old Town.
